What I am currently working on is a PhD project entitled &#8220;Plaything Phenomenology. A Popular Aesthetics of Videogames&#8221;, funded by the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. After a total of three and a half years of working on my PhD at the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, including one semester at the Center for Digital Play at the ITU Copenhagen, I successfully defended my dissertation in January 2025! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">Currently, I&#8217;m a guest lecturer at Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">You will also find me organizing stuff for the <a href=\"http:\/\/wwww.mittelbau.net\">Network for Good Labor in Academia (NGAWiss)<\/a> to keep the debate around the precarity of Germany&#8217;s university employees alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>* note that I have a new email: c.lukman [at] udk-berlin.de My research revolves around digital media from the perspective of phenomenology, aesthetics, and media theory.
